Cowboys vs Eagles – Week 2 NFL Betting Preview

Cowboys vs Eagles Week 2 NFL Betting Preview

Certainly the Philadelphia Eagles look to soar during the 2015 season, but it is the Dallas Cowboys who will come into the City of Brotherly Love on a high as they engage in this NFC East showdown that is slated to begin at 4:25 PM ET at Lincoln Financial Field. After all, the Cowboys won a thriller, while the Eagles lost a heart-breaker in their respective season openers. And by the way, VIETBET patrons have the ability to continue their NFL betting even after the opening kickoff, as they bet on the side, total and various props through the magic of Live Betting Extra.

The Eagles lost to the Atlanta Falcons 26-24 in a dramatic Monday night game, and their signature addition, DeMarco Murray, who spent last season with the Cowboys, rushed for exactly nine yards on eight carries. Needless to say, they are expecting much more from him this week as he goes up against his old teammates. This will mark the first time in NFL history that are running back who gained 1500 or more yards the season before played the next season against his former team.

The Cowboys made a big comeback in the closing stages against the New York Giants, who looked completely disorganized on defense on the final drive. Tony Romo did not get a whole lot out of his running game, which went for 80 yards on 23 carries, and Dallas also paid a price during the 27-26 victory, as Dez Bryant, the star wide receiver, suffered a broken foot and will be out anywhere from 4-6 weeks.

Dallas, which did not go out and get a high-line running back to replace Murray, is moving with the “committee” approach. But really, only Joseph Randle got carries of any significance in the opener, logging 65 yards on 16 attempts. However, Lance Dunbar was very useful out of the backfield, with eight receptions, and he was a key figure on the final winning drive. Romo threw for 356 yards, but was intercepted twice. The offensive line did its job, not permitting him to get sacked, and that is most certainly a positive.

Murray, despite only 20 yards from scrimmage (rushing and receiving combined), scored two touchdowns on the evening. And Vietbet customers know that Darren Sproles is going to be a very useful member of this fast-paced Philadelphia offense. He had 50 yards rushing and 76 receiving.

Sam Bradford came away with mixed reviews from his first game as the Eagles’ quarterback. He completed 36 out of his 52 throws and sustained two interceptions against Atlanta. The Eagles, true to form, had the ball for only 25-1/2 minutes. Meanwhile, Dallas has 37 minutes of possession time against the Giants and racked up 27 first downs. Are we going to have a shootout on Sunday? Well, quite possibly, and the Fox Network audience will certainly enjoy that, as will fans making their wagers through VIETBET, especially as they are getting reduced juice and using Bitcoin to open up and replenish their accounts!
